The Buffalo Bills have hired Zak Kromer, the son of offensive line coach Aaron Kromer, as an entry-level coaching assistant.Zak Kromer spent the past four seasons as a student assistant for the University of Oklahomas football team.Kromer, 22, was charged with misdemeanor battery in Walton County, Florida, in July 2015 after a dispute with teenagers over beach chairs. His father was arrested after the altercation and also charged with misdemeanor battery.Charges against both Kromers were dropped later that month at the request of the accusers parents. In a statement, the assistant Florida state attorney said the Kromers and the family of the accusers had reached an amicable resolution of the matter and that the injuries to the boys were minor and required no medical treatment.Both Kromers had pleaded not guilty to the charges. Aaron Kromer was alleged to have punched a boy in the face and threatened to kill his family, while Zak Kromer was accused of placing his hands on another boy during the altercation.The Bills later suspended Aaron Kromer for the first six games of the 2015 regular season. She then asked a neighbor to help get her dog out of a kennel. The neighbor was pulled underwater a few times.
