The return of Nate Myles from injury has inspired Queensland as they vie for a rare State of Origin whitewash, Johnathan Thurston says.Myles is expected to run with the Maroons at Friday afternoons training session at their Gold Coast camp in another positive sign he has overcome a knee complaint. He has played 30 Origins in the toughest position. When Nate stands beside you, you know you are safe, Thurston said ahead of next Wednesdays game three in Sydney. If he starts, he knows what it takes. And if he is on the bench, it wont be an issue for him. While Queensland look set to welcome back Myles, they will be farewelling retiring lock Corey Parker who will play his 19th and final Origin.Thurston has publicly stated he wants to draw the curtain on his representative career after the 2017 World Cup.But the Maroons playmaker admits Parkers farewell has stirred some second thoughts. It is a bit harder to deal with because it feels like it is coming to an end. I am going to miss it, Thurston said.I am having second thoughts now.But still for me it is making it to the World Cup then making a decision then.Queensland will vie for just their fifth Origin series whitewash.I have only been part of one. Its not often we are 2-0 up, said Thurston, who was part of Queenslands last whitewash in 2010.We have a great opportunity to create something special.Boog Powell Indians Jersey .
